Located in Wilkes county in between Athens and Augusta. Aonia Pass is about two hours east of downtown Atlanta off Interstate
20.
From Atlanta:
Quickest route from downtown Atlanta- NOTE: once you exit I-20 going this route, there
are no gas stations, grocery or convenience stores along the way. If you need to make a PIT STOP, do so at the Greensboro
Exit #130.
Take I-20 East to exit #160 (Hwy 223 Norwood Exit). Go left and travel on Hwy 223/80 until
it dead-ends with Hwy 78 (15 miles). Turn right on Hwy 78. Aonia Pass MX is 2.5 miles on your right (look for the big
yellow Aonia Pass Motoplex sign and the lake). Turn right onto gravel road, the track is all the way in the back.
From Augusta:
Exit I-20W #172 at Thomson/Hwy 78 and turn right. NOTE: if you need to make a PIT STOP, do
so at the exit as there are no gas stations, grocery or convenience stores along Hwy 78 to the track. Follow Hwy 78
toward Washington for 15 miles. As you enter the Aonia Community (see sign), the track is on the left. See the large
"Aonia Pass Motocross" sign on the left and turn left into the driveway. The track is all they way in back.
From Northeast GA/NW NC/NW SC:
Make your best way to Hwy 441 to Athens, GA and then to Hwy 78 in Athens. Go east on
Hwy 78 all the way to Washington, GA and then follow the signs to Thomson, GA. ON 78E from Washington, once you enter
the small community of Aonia (see sign), the track is about 1.5 miles on the right. See the lake on the right, look for
the large yellow marquis sign that reads Aonia Pass Motocross and turn right into the driveway and follow that to
the track.
Please sign in and pay your fees as soon as you arrive. Do not unload your bikes until you
do this. Thank you.
ALERT: ALL RIDERS AND SPECTATORS MUST SIGN IN AT THE SCORING TOWER UPON ARRIVAL. ANYONE CAUGHT
FAILING TO SIGN AND PAY THEIR RIDE FEE WILL BE PROSECUTED FOR TRESPASSING. WE HAVE CLOSED CIRCUIT VIDEO CAMERAS THAT RECORD
EVERYONE WHO COMES AND GOES AT "THE PASS". WE ARE NOT RUNNING A FREE TRACK. IT COSTS THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS PER MONTH TO RUN
